Body Found of Denville Man that went Swimming

So sad...

Rescuers have recovered the body of a New Jersey man who was last seen at Cooks Pond Friday night.

Joseph Arcoleo, 60, of Denville, had been swimming in the lake when he vanished, said Denville Township Police Department, which announced around 3 p.m. Saturday that his body had been found in the pond.

Police seeking man wanted in Denville

The Denville Township Police Department is seeking information relating to the whereabouts of Matthew McDermott, who frequents Rockaway, Dover and Denville. McDermott is wanted for several incidents of harassment and has an active criminal warrant. Make Art, Drink Wine, Have Fun!

I've done this in Montclair, but apparently they are opening one in Denville in March. You paint, drink, have a good time, and come home with a souvenir.

Denville Holiday Parade Today

The Denville Chamber of Commerce will hold the annual Holiday Parade on Sunday, starting at 2 p.m.

The parade route begins at the entrance of the Upper Bloomfield Avenue Parking Lot on Bloomfield Avenue before heading down Broadway, turning right onto Diamond Spring Road, left onto Church Street, and finally right onto Clark Street before ending at Santa Land.

Veggie Heaven

What does everyone get here? I've gotten the General Tso's Chunks of Chicken, but I wanted to try the Veggie Chicken Balls or Crispy Tofu. I've also gotten the Bang Bang Chicken & Beef.

I've heard Moe's Mexican Grill is moving into downtown Denville by Starbucks.

Paving Project - 8/1/2013

On Thursday, August 1st, The Township of Denville's paving project will impact the following Roads:

Milling: Parks Road and Ford Road

Paving: East Glen Road, Hewetson Road and Cramsey place

The milling / paving is being performed during the daytime hours and will result in periodic road closures and / or detours. As a result of the impact to vehicular traffic, it would be best for residents to leave the area during the day.
